Sniffles are you saying that anyone who protests higher taxes is an ultra right wing affiliate of the John Birch Society? And the only purpose is to embarrass Obama? That’s absurd! I’m one of the protestors and have nothing to do with the John Birch Society. There are millions of people who don’t think the government can spend its way out of debt like Obama is trying to; and that he will create terrible inflation which destroys the buying power of the dollar. Please tell everyone, that if you owed far more money than you could ever pay back, how you could spend more of your money to keep from going bankrupt? Or would you just spend my money to pay off your personal debts?

How about some old Nazi war criminals. Are there any old ultra conservatives left over from Mussolini’s fascist party? How about Charles Lindberg’s old depression era’s America First Party. Any ancestors of Joe McCarthy? OR, “I Shall Return”, General Douglas McArthur. Anyone left in America like that original tea partier that said, “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death!? Come one come all to save America from the Socialist, Marxist and Communist supporters of our government.

I'm sure you're not referring to the over 4000 young men and women who lost their lives 'helping' our country under the leadership of Bush. I'm sure you'll clarify your statement. I don't blame all of our missteps on Bush - but he was the president - and the buck stops there. I must say I admire him for not caving in to Cheney - and pardoning Scooter.

I'm not sure if you are trying to provoke me because I am no fan of your hero Barry or if you have had a bit of a senior moment here. Let me make one thing clear for you. To insinuate that I would take lightly the lives lost under the command of any president is a slap in the face. I have never posted anything remotely resembling that type of thought here.

The statement was not meant to provoke - sincerely wanted a clarification because others who read your post wondered who 'they' were and directed me to your post - since I have mentioned you to others as an example of 'female conservative' thought. Many ‘newcomers’ read The Citizen to get a feel for the thought in the community. In the past you have written with such venom regarding some issues, that it was ‘thought’ that you meant those who died fighting for our country as ‘they’ Don't clarify anything if you feel it isn't necessary. Well, if you were sincere, it was simple. Main Stream was explaining to us all that Pres Bush needed no help embarrassing himself, that he was a master of that. My question was if he needed no help embarrassing himself, why did the left fall all over themselves trying to embarrass him further? It was a rhetorical question anyway.

Two things here, I feel it was a extreme stretch on your part to tie what he said to our soldiers when clearly meant the Dems, also moc is a male, I met him a few months ago and while I admit I've never seen him naked( no offense moc, but I don't want to either) he is a male. Also I never saw the word 'they' in either of his posts.

No stretch on my part - just answering a comment made to me by another reader. Sorry about the 'gender' issue. Thanks for the clarification MOC - and I will correct the 'label' that I gave your contributions to discussions. During the election some friends asked me who I talked to in a 'Red' state.
