Kristin Astrid Thames, 47, Fayetteville, died Feb. 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Eugene Thames, and her father, Alf Jonsson. Services were at the Christian City chapel with the Rev. Paul Carrier officiating. Interment is today, Feb. 25, at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Ga., at 1 p.m. Survivors include a son, Christopher S. Murray, Fayetteville; a daughter, Angela N. Murray, Athens; mother, Birgitta Jonsson, Longview, Ore.; a brother, Tobias Jonsson, Sedona, Ariz.; a sister, Anna Jonsson, Granby, Mass.; and dear friend, Vincent Murray, Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
