No CA lay-off of 20,000

That there republican governor raised the sales tax to about 13% I think it is now.
Saved those tax paid jobs.

There are about four state governors saying now that they don't want the recession bailout money voted by congress.
Well, they said they would take some of it--the parts having to do with paying the states bills.

They don't want any dams, roads, bridges fixed, welfare, extended unemployment payments, and cash money.

The money they save with the bailout they will accept will pay the bills, thereby relieving them to do other things.

Kinda sounds like the banks telling us what they did with the money we gave them---"we paid our bills and bought other banks, thank you! Kept our employees and gave them huge bonuses."

It is somewhat comical to listen to people like our local politicians arguing about laying off the lowest paid employees--whole departments of them. They know there are others coming up next due to the depression (I mean recession)and they wanted to start as far away from their jobs as possible.
Who might be next on the ladder: let's see, I'll bet it is the library!Close it.

Then who is next? Contractors maybe--we don't need things trimmed for a year or two. I saw badly overgrown things in the 30s.

Of course the $300,000 pool contractor will be let go--I thought we ran that ourselves---didn't know about the pool contractor. Is that all pools or one only?

Blackwater is now available to run the Police Department by contract! Obama fired them. They get 200,000$ per employee, but don't need many--they carry
M-16s.

Things can just be let burn up (or down) and layoff the fire department. Let the funeral homes run the ambulances as they used to do.

It may get tougher than that!

Can those retreats held every year. They already know what will happen.
Save a lot of hotel bills and expensive meals---not for the mowers though!

The budget can be reduced substantially by using only the gyms for teaching!
Only need about 2-3 teachers per gym!

All I had.
