Sad state of affairs!

Three editors of the NY Times printed a report yesterday concerning our government, military and civilian contractors in early Iraqi re-development after the "bombing."
The start of the re-building was supervised ocally primarily by U. S Military Officers---Colonel and below.

Two of the more prominent ones according to tribunals so far were: Col. Anthony Bell, and LTC Ronald Hurtle.

Many under the supervision of thes two officers have already been found guilty of taking and making bribes, but these two say they did nothing "wrong."
35 have been convicted, so far.
A Dale Stoffel was killed on the road after testifying in the trials.

Many of the dollar payoffs were made in Pizza delivery boxes to offices and in brown bags elsewhere for dead drops. )I remember a very large sum once found in a tree knot hole.)

All of these reconstruction efforts have basucally failed due to poor planning and unexpected violence.

Many others have pleaded guilty, including a Maj John Cockerham and his wife in accepting 10 million dollars graft. Bell may have gotten some of that.

One contractor committed suicide after being found guilty.

I know war is hell, but all this one was so unnecessary!

Vanna? Why yes! One "L."

I'd like to solve the puzzle.

"(" instead of ")"

"i" instead of "u"

and delete the "all"

Sorry bonkers, couldn't help myself

I wanted to see how many would find typos more important than our war shame.

You were only the second one!
