A little help, Please

My new HP F2210 scanner, copier installs my pictures or letters on my computer OK, but I can't attach them to an e-mail!

It wants me to use OUTLOOK EXPRESS and when I try it says POP3 is not ready!

I use Explorer and I have DSL with AT&T.

I will use OUTLOOK if I can also use what I currently use without a lot of hassle.

I also don't know how to save these scans.

A little help, Please

Two questions.
1. Are you sure you have located the actual file of the picture that was scanned?
2. What is the name of the file extension that it was saved as (i.e., jpg, tif, etc)?

Question #3. Can you go in the folder, click on the file, and view the picture that you saved?
