Democrats on wrong side

Democrats defeat GOP plan on mortgage rates

With this vote, the dems have proven once again that they do not care about individual Americans' financial situation.

Chucky Schumer said that the bill would have been "too expensive"

Hey Chucky, what do you call barry's 920 billion dollar boondoggle - cheap?

You are absolutely correct.. The so called Stimulus/spending PORKULISCIOUS bill is loaded with their little pet projects.. If it was so darned important why is only 3-5% being spent this year and the rest over the next 2 years..
The American people know what this is.. What is the approval rating now down to? 30% lower?
We need to scuttle this one and start over.. and Obama's disparate bombardment of DOOM and GLOOM.. will not change it..
I heard over the last 2 years about Bush and his fear mongering.. Well looks like ole Barry done learned that lesson well..

When Bush was fear mongering he was lying. When Obama does it he's just telling it like it is. Don't you read the Huffington Post and democraticunderground?

Cut Corporate Income Taxes. That was your solution offered up, "fred." "Fred," where is YOUR concern for "individual Americans' financial situation?" You are talking about cutting Exxon's taxes. So, you go one worse than the democrats, don't you? Not only do you ignore Joe the plumber's problems, you shove more cash in Exxon's pockets because they didn't make quite enough to keep jobs in America. Oh, and remember, "fred," you also didn't want to cap executive's pay in companies being supported by government welfare. But YOU are concerned about "individual American's financial situation?" "fred," you are being a wee bit transparent here.

Most corporations are LLCs anyway, and each partner pays regular taxes.

What you criticizers aren't realizing about cutting corporate taxes is that all that tax money the corporations keep under a tax cut would "dribble down" to you and me---eventually, I think--just like it always has!

"Ignoring the post below... Fred"

When one's own words belie the political digs they attempt to make, I agree that ignoring your own words is the only option one can take. You can point out approval ratings for congress all day and night, but lest you forget, the democratic party took those low approval ratings and beat The GOP in the last national election. So, I'm not sure what your approval rating reference is good for, other than to fill up the text box surrounding your comments. And, for a guy that says we're obsessed with former President Bush, YOU sure do bring him up a lot. And, I mean a lot like not a little. You might take your own advice and get some counseling to get over 43.
