Happy Birthday Mr. President

Today, February 6th is the birthday of one of the greatest Presidents in American History, Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Its sad to see his inspiration for an America that promotes individual responsibility and reward, for hope, faith, and charity in our country and in ourselves is being quickly stolen by the Marxist that now holds the White House. But, I have to believe this to will change.

Unfortunately, the change will not be what I had hoped. Many years ago, while on the Executive Board of the Republican Party, many of us moved the leadership to find a way to honor Reagan in Fayette County. By naming a major road, building, school, etc. after this leader. Unfortunately, the local party was already showing the signs seen in the national party, that being people more interested in their resumes, than in getting the job done. So, nothing was done.

I'd challenge our current County Commission to find some way to honor our President Reagan soon. Because I fear that before one knows it, more things in Fayette will be renamed after the New Marxist Messiah rather than for a President who actually lead our country with the principles that created this great land.

What is taking so long? The County Commission, Cities of Fayetteville, Peachtree City, and Tyrone should find it easy to pay tribute to this great President.

The Ronald Reagan Memorial Abortion Clinic

Perhaps when Fayette County gets its first abortion clinic, it could be named after Ronald Reagan. It would be altogether fitting and appropriate.

After all, Reagan did more than virtually any other politician in the 1960s to assure access to safe and legal abortions, when as Governor of California in 1967 he signed legislation legalizing abortion.

Strange how conservatives tend to overlook that part of his record.

Well there you go again... Just who do you think has done more to promote abortions.. Reagan or you Libs?
Do you really have to go all the way to the 60's for your dis of Reagan..
I believe we can bring up a lot more examples on Carter, Clinton and your new Messiah Barry.. and they would be more relevant as well.
How about the:
CARTER CENTER FOR DISENFRANCHISED DICTATORS (sorry Jeff it just rolled off the tongue)
CLINTON LIBRARY AND MESSAGE PARLOR
or the soon to be christened:
OBAMA CENTER FOR THE APPLIED SOCIALIST SCIENCES

See we to know political humor too.. funny how that works..
Now you can get all worked up... come back with some sarcasm and insults.. maybe even get Diva to double team me.. Oh,, that's a mental picture I have now got to erase..

The only two things that get old Sniffer all apoplectic are abortion and gay rights. Those are the prism through which he views life. Notice how he turns it from someone having a birthday wish for President Reagan into "abortion time".

Also, don't knock them for providing their "research" links. At least they are being truthful about where they are getting their opinions.
