Mayor Franklin can now hire those 30,000 to 40,000 workers (AJC) to start working on Atlanta's infrastructure woes.

I had an idea, they could just spend 500 billion and give each state 10 billion stimulus to work on the infrastructure that they need and use some of it to help cities in trouble. But no, that would be wrong, the Federal gonvernment certainly knows how to spend that money better then the states themselves.

Yeah, you guys are all for states' rights.

Unless, of course, it's laws you disagree with, like gay marriage, legalization of marijuana, and so on.

States rights! I wish. While we're at it, how about each state pay its own way.

If it weren't for the blue states, the red states would still be using horses and carriages.

Look it up. The blue states pay out more in taxes than they receive.

Let's face it: Some "states" aren't independent at all. Care to guess which ones? Truth hurts.
