Now the water bill going up!

Don't build the dam dam.

Not until we all have a job again!

Someone wants to "build" fancy houses on the lake created?
No way, they want to increase the value of their land with the dam dam.
They don't intend to build now or for years. Dam dam won't even be done for years.

We will be required to nationalize the banks within six months if we don't pump several trillion more into them to allow for loaning for "hoped for" things. Right now they are buying each other with our money and loaning a little for perfect loans, and investing the rest into safe 2-3% returns for their stockholders and officers.

Why build more houses anywhere now? We will soon have several million sitting around foreclosed or not being paid for! They will have to be burned to help out the construction industry!

Same for all the empty and half finished retail space!

Airlines going broke AGAIN---Air Tran lost a ton and so did Delta! How did Delta ever get out of bankruptcy? Oh, I know---didn't pay their creditors, did they?

Now the water bill going up! Are they crazy?

the use of public funds or taxpayer dollars, to benefit private enterprise has to be brought to a halt immedieately. Another 12 months of this economic disaster and the county will be broke. Just like the West Bypass project, this is a classic example of the county using SPLOST funds to benefit a few private enterprises, same with Lake Macintosh, water rate increases mean public money will be funding this project, while private enterprise reaps the benefits, in other words folks know who your local robber barons are.. See you at the next commisioners meeting....BLESS

Delta paid their creditors via a court approved process.

In defense of dollar, would you like to see a list of the people who did not get paid, or not in full anyway?
Court or no court, it is a matter of getting a little for some or none for all.
Too much wages paid and to poor planning and union demands.

I thought you might defend him.

Anyways, I'm very aware of the fallout but you know, there is system of laws in case of bankruptcies and that was followed.

Too much wages paid and to poor planning and union demands.

I suspect Valujet was your darling.
