When Hospitals run out of credit!

Piedmont-Fayette Hospital can't possibly be paying for the scores of millions they are spending right now in Fayette County!

What would happen if when they go back next time and no credit is extended to them and payment is demanded?

That is precisely what is happening to most of our industry going broke right now.

Matter of fact Piedmont doesn't even know where their money is going to come from after the health system is re-vamped in the next year or two!

Talk about lay0ffs!!!
Where on earth will all those people go?

Also the prescription drug companies will have to release thousands of "reps" who barker the doctors for prescription writing of their particular drug.
Usually the 35 dollar per pill kind.

That is going to be dead.

Nobody seems to be waking up ahead of necessity----yet!

Do you really think the health care system operates for the benefit of anyone, besides their own personal wallets?

Not that I condem them for wanting a paycheck. It is the only reason I show up to work everyday. My point is the paycheck is the only reason anyone shows up to work. So if the money isn't coming in why would they stick around??? Why would they?

Once we give so called "free health care" to everyone, even the illegals; let's see how many Drs. and nurses show up for minimum wage? That "free" health care will not be free we will all pay for it dearly.

How many do you really think will show up? I say none or close to none.

If the hospitals really are having financial problems it is probably because of all the freeloaders they take care of. There really is no free lunch in life folks. Someone always has to pay.

You are wrong about working for a pay check only. Many work for the POWER, and some who are wealthy, for accomplishment.

I assume your last paragraphs are concerning universal health care not being needed.
It will root out many of the over hiring and inefficiencies of the payrolls currently employed. Hardly anyone except the doctors and some nurses work over 45% of the time while at work!

The doctors do since they are on an incentive plan for the most part---numbers pay much more than holistic treatment!

Yes, government supervised health will pose some problems, but you rich guys can still find private doctors and hospitals if you want them!

Actually through script track the insurance companies reward Drs. for how many drugs they hand out. I don't know of any holistic treatment that has the same reward plan.

You are right to get better health care and not be put on a list, many will pay for private Drs. Check out MDVIP.

When I have cancer or heart problems I don't want to be put on a waiting list for care. That is exactly how it works right now in England. It is not unusual after a diagnosis of cancer to be put on a 7 month waiting list before treatment starts. I can hardly wait until the freeloader crowd gets hit with the reality of that. They will be the first ones crying and sniveling when they have to wait to get something for free.
