Free Money Coming! Make up your mind!

Today congress is likely to vote $150 BILLION of money they will borrow (since taxes don't make it up) for the States to have for education (just the start---construction, next week, Condoms, the week after, chain stores, following, next quarter bank bailouts following, etc.)

Now Georgia (Sonny) is likely to get about 4-5 Billion of that to spread around the school districts!!!!
Problem is he has already cut state aid to the districts by that much! So they won't even break even by the time the handlers get their share!

Sonny might not even take it because I have heard him say numerous times that Georgia (a republican state) does not want any Federal Help--now way, no how!
Too many strings on it and it will eventually raise taxes, he says.

But I'll bet you Fayette County would like to have it and there are more republicans here than anywhere!

Why don't they just give it to Atlanta and Clayton County and we will take care of our own?

What do you say?

I am interested in the excuses given as to why we should take it even though we don't want it! Or, do we?

I have already heard the sneaky republican Senators in Washington say they don't want this money for their state but will vote for it anyway.

Nearly all of them have said that.
Even McCain said it nearly----wants it but more for banks, etc., and not as much for people's use.

When these guys campaign next time it will certainly be interesting as to their wordsmithing to explain how they don't believe in it but voted for it anyway!!!!
Republicans are dead. Rest the next time, I think.
Bring on the Whigs!
