Peachtree City Police have made no arrests but continue to interview multiple individuals in relation to the Jan. 22 shooting at the 1024 Ridgefield Drive residence where 36-year-old Philip Shawn Curl was shot in the abdomen and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Peachtree City Police spokesperson Rosanna Dove Monday afternoon said investigators are still interviewing a quantity of people in efforts to determine all aspects of the incident. The department will not be able to release any information until all the required aspects of the case are determined, Dove said. Peachtree City Police Thursday afternoon spoke with a person of interest in the shooting incident. The unidentified man came to the police department within a few hours of the incident. Dove said the man is not regarded as a suspect. Investigators initially thought they would need to speak with at least one other person, but by Friday Dove said investigators were still talking with other people and need to talk with a number of others before any action could be taken or charges filed. Limited details of the Thursday incident include a description of the assailant as being a tall, stocky built white male wearing a black ski mask, camo jacket, khaki pants and brownish work boots. He was reported to have been seen running east on the cart path system, police said. Any person with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Peachtree City Police Department at (770)487-8866. You may remain anonymous. Any person who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the offender in this incident is eligible for up to a $1000 reward. login to post comments |
