Frankly I think the mess is too much to clean up in Less than 20-25 years!
Greed, false Christians, crooked business men, ill-regulated banks, war-mongers, power grubbing Philistines, and much more have just about ruined us.
We have however lasted since 1776 to 2008--224 years which compares favorably with Castro, Saudi Kings and some others.

Remember in the first 100 days unemployment would be reversed, we will pull out of Iraq, and we will have free health care for everyone. Also there will be many entitlement programs for people who lived way beyond their means. Many people have the misguided impression that owning a home is a "right" guaranteed or owed to them in the Bill of Rights, or the Constitution of the U.S.

Are you one of the thousand points of light who will volunteer at the food banks? Everyone who thinks that they haven't paid enough in taxes needs to volunteer their time and money to charities that are important to them. Don't let us all down bonker$.

I don't think Obama has spent a dime yet! All of the first near trillion was given out by Bush and Paulson, I think! To the banks to boost their assets back after they wrote down their bad loans.
It seems that there is a silly rule that a bank has to have so much capital in order to make loans!
The bad loans were the capital until found out that they were no good!

Since Bush/Paulson blew a trillion and The Fed another 3 trillion in loans, Obama has to try and bailout the Bushes and try to make it work, he doesn't even know yet that it will take 3-4 times that much before it is effective.

Well, he may know, but already he has to keep quiet in order to be able to get anything done!

Unless we put several thousand bankers, insurance people, and finance types into jail over all this---it WILL be repeated sometime. Why not!

What say we relax what regulation we have on banks? It seemed to work for them for several years!

obama was part of the democratically controlled congress falling all over themselves to bailout their wallstreet buddies. The same wallstreet buddies that contributed to barry's campaign. Wink, wink.

As for myself, I already pay too much in taxes. Because I already pay too much, I have cut all spending except for food, and gas for the car. God only helps those that help themselves. Luck with your entitlement programs.
