I see "divide and conquer again!!!!

Every year no one adds up the above tax increases and tells us in advance what the grand total is going to be. On top of that they can also raise the value of a home and also raise the millage rate.

They can even say we are getting a tax decrease due to a millage rate decrease, but at the same time raise the home value even more dollars than the millage decrease! A net increase.

Now we have the cities and the counties and the school board all losing money due to a shortage in sales tax revenues, and Georgia cutting way back on their contributions.

What do you suppose all that added together is going to cost us when all those taxes are combined?

You are only going to get one TALE at a time, so look for it!

Let us demand job cuts in the higher paying positions---especially so many in the school system and the city management.
I can assure you that those guys and gals making 100-250,000 are NOT going to volunteer pay cuts!

The state needs to borrow some money, just like Washington, D.C., to pay a decent unemployment rate for the layoffs and to provide at least minimum health insurance.

The four million NEW jobs coming, I hear, will eventually pay off the loans!

If we raise taxes 200-600 every year here, we will soon be left with the rich only!!!! And a bigger bunch of foreclosures.

will lay0ff a town manager or an assistant town manager?

Will De cotis (DR.) sever the employment of assistant supers or even senior managers?

No, no it is not going to happen--not even sure they have the guts or authority!

What could happen is that no checks will be issued one pay period and then maybe some will leave.
