Man jailed over threats to stepfather

A Peachtree City man was arrested Monday after he pulled out a knife and threatened his stepfather, police said.

Initially Cedric L. Blandburg was asked to leave his stepfather’s and mother’s house due to a family incident and he refused, police said. At one point he also threatened the stepfather with a pipe and the knife, police said.

Ultimately family members escorted Blandburg out of the home and no physical contact with the victim was made, police said.

But once outside, Blandburg began hitting his stepfather’s car with a landscaping timber, police said.

Blandburg, 17, of Hamilton Road was charged with aggravated assault (family violence) and criminal trespassing (family violence).

I sincerely wish that you remain safe. This kind of violent temper gets worse, not better. It gets harder and harder to justify as time goes on. Please be careful and aware.

Domestic Abuse.. and "I loves him"

Had one just like her years ago.. got a Domestic abuse call.. arived on scene.. Husband was body slamming her through a coffee table..she was so bloody you could barely see her face.. I kicked in the door and tackled the Husband.. the fight was on.. The next thing I heard was.. "Youse hurting him.. get off" The next thing I felt was a 8" butcher knife being shoved over my vest in my back.. nicking my heart... Just loved these people..
