Fayette County Sheriff’s Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT) Tuesday announced the results of three investigations in which a total of seven Fayette residents were arrested on drug-related charges.

Twenty-year-old Fayetteville resident Dontae Neal was arrested Jan. 14 after TNT agents executed a search warrant at his Pecan Court home.

Neal was found to be in possession of 4.5 grams of cocaine and 30 grams of marijuana, all packaged for distribution, said TNT Lt. Jody Thomas.

Neal was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Thomas said.

A Jan. 15 incident resulted in the arrest of 24-year-old Fayetteville resident Kevin J. Williams, said Thomas.

Williams was arrested after he met with an undercover agent on three separate occasions and sold various quantities of marijuana to the agent, said Thomas. Williams was arrested after he sold the agent a half-pound of marijuana for $1,200, said Thomas.

And in another Jan. 15 incident, TNT agents executed a search warrant at the home of Catherine Olson in Peachtree City, Thomas said. Agents arrested five persons at the home.

Those arrested were Catherine Olson, 50, Paul Olson, 18, August Hullemeyer, 17, of Peachtree City, and two juveniles. All five persons were charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Catherine Olson was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and disorderly house.

I'm surprised no one has commented yet on this good, solid police work.

I want my tax dollars being used to fight drug related crime within Fayette's borders.

Some things I particularly applaud:

  • The busts were actually IN Fayette county, no more Fayette officers "keeping Duluth safe"
  • No spectacular car chases and/or car wrecks occurred in any of the above busts
  • No hyperinflated evidence counts(i.e. a dime bag of pot "with a street value of over $3000!")

Good work, gentlemen.

in Fayette and Duluth. These arrests and seizures bring in a substantial amount of money into the County. By DTF (TNT) working with these other agencies they get a slice of the pie. All of TNT's activities are not reported here in The Citizen. They are doing a great job with the County as well as the surrounding ones.

I haven't been on the blogs in a while..glad to see the bug back:)

Also, how about Nugent-Palin 2012. I would pay to watch a debate between Nugent and Obama:)
