Working Hard For The Money

What everyone needs to remember is that we will all suffer from the layoffs. They do a hell of a job keeping all of PTC looking the way it does. These crews help with events in and around town, they clean up after everyone enjoys the day, they mow the grassy areas so PTC doesn't look uncared for, they move the deer out of the road while citizens drive by it, they cut the dead trees down so no one is injured, they show up to work at 7:30am and take 20 minute lunches, etc. It isn't their fault the wind and rain blow the leaves and pine straw back into our yards. Without these HARD EARNED workers, PTC is about to become a whole new city. I agree with the other bloggers when they talk about outsourcing the work to companies composed of workers not from PTC and maybe not even USA, it won't be the same. These workers take pride in what they do and they deserve to have other options looked into before elimination.

Not All Forces Of Change Are Good

Mayor Logsdon is to Peachtree City what Adolph Hitler was to Nazi Germany. Both looked great at the beginning, but it didn't take long to see the future was dim.

Why? What's the difference? And please get me beyond what they "promise" us they are going to accomplish. I mean I'm with you that Democrat Party deserves to be flushed down the crapper. But tell me why the Republicans shouldn't be forced down the same hole with a plunger.

Every time I read that tagline, I'm reminded of the Repub holdouts I see, still driving around with the "Bush/Cheney '04" window stickers. I can hardly wait to drive up next to these "oddities" to see who they are.... strange indeed. Laughing out loud

Those Bush/Cheney '04' Sticker "holdouts" have about the same plebeian intelligence level as those Obama/Biden Change sticker toting cultists that heedlessly driving around thinking their god has descended upon them. Not to mention those mindless Obama T-Shirt Wearing Multitudes that flock to worship their new savior at the altar of big gumament.
