Lack of citizen's inaction!

Although it was easy to see as long ago as about 2002, even I wasn't pessimistic enough to see the economic troubles we currently have.

Allowing the financial industry to bolt forward on credit without end in a giant Ponzi scheme, was eternally destined to failure. There must always be room in a budget for a way out, assuming the proper rules and regulations are enforced.
Blaming citizens for taking advantage of it is akin to starving a tiger for a month and then telling him not to eat you!

If our leaders had paid as much attention to our national finances as they did wars and mixing religion with politics, we wouldn't be in this mess!

Capitalism must never be given all of the cards to play. If they are we obviously will not win!

Now we have allowed them to go way too far. We are in for years of down-hill before a way is discovered to equalize and balance the nation's finances.

The further separation of those who have and those who do not caused by this economic catastrophe, which we allowed, will not serve our democracy (State) well.

It is the economy, stupid!

Our lack of manufacturing in the USA for us, and for other countries, is another very serious problem for our future!

Granted we have been able to buy trinkets, electronics, and clothing somewhat cheaper than if we mad them here, it has put us in the position of NEEDing other countries that might eventually do us in--it happened to Greece, Persia, and Rome if you will just recall.

If our government now wants to THROW trillions at our economy, it should be done to re-assemble our manufacturing base before it is too late.

Giving banks and the finance industry free money to loan to retail stores, home building and such won't do it!!! We now have at least two years worth of homes and retail stores too many!! Just watch how many more close soon!

Cut the Honda's and Toyota's off at the border and see what happens here.

We will have to take some Chinese cars since we owe them so much.

Let us start factories next week to make TVs, etc., right here in the USA. Cut the others off at the border.

Let us put the local farmers back into business so we don't have to haul crap all over the USA, Do it tomorrow.

If countries want our technology, charge them a fee at the border for it.

Raise our Army and Navy back to several million well-trained and positioned! Make more atomic bombs if we need them.

Put everyone to work next week. Set-up hiring houses every 200 miles. If you go there you will have a job when you leave! The details of home and family can be worked out ASAP.

Layoff half of our national, state, county, and local government employees--send them to the hiring houses. 50% of the upper wage-earners, 50% of the lower wage earners!

Folks if we don't, it will get so serious we won't have time to work out the details!!

Everyone doesn't need a 46-65 inch TV, nor a sedan, nor a $200,000 house, nor zillions of items at the chain grocery stores--half of which is wasted!

We don't have to have soup lines and riots if we move now.
OK, say it won't happen and continue as you are, the politicians will let you do that, if you don't ignore them and demand action!

Riot on them, not each other!
