barry: "Only GOVERNMENT can fix this"

Obama warns of dire consequences without stimulus

"At this particular moment, only GOVERNMENT can provide the short-term boost necessary to lift us from a recession this deep and severe."

hey barry - how about a direct stimulus by suspending all federal income taxes for two months? That will jump start the economy like no government program ever could.

The government couldn't punch it's way out of a paper bag, let alone dig us out of a recession!

I absolutely agree with Mr. Garvin on this point: the answer to our Government/Federal Reserve induced economic woes is NOT more detremental actions by the Government/Federal Reserve. These are the main culprits that brought on this disaster in the first place.

The really sad part of all this is, that YOU the voting public RE-ELECTED?!?! the same bozos in DC that voted to bailout Wall Street!!! Not to mention YOU made one of them the PRESIDENT!!! What are you people STUPID?!?!!! ARE YOU ON DRUGS?!?!!!

Despite the thousands upon thousands of phone calls, letters, and emails received on Capitol Hill telling Congress to reject ANY bailout plan, we were IGNORED by those who we chose to represent US, and OUR orders.

I did not vote for ANY Rep. or Senator who voted to pass the bailouts, including B.H.Obama, and J. McCain. If you did, you deserve exactly what you get, and according to the Austrian economists out there,(Peter Schiff, for one) it won't be very long before you get it.

The force is not strong in some, for they are weak minded and easily influenced by the darkside, the promise of easy money and the so to say bailout(rediculous). There is no such thing, what Washington will result to is printing more dollars, there for causing the effect of hyper inflation, just like Japan experienced in the last 5yrs prior to our own economic melt down. For those of you out there that cant figure it out. Just wait, until a gallon of milk cost $39.95. Because by then it will take $15 dollars to equal the current value of $1 dollar.. GOOD LUCK..BETTER STOCK UP NOW, FOOD, WATER, STERNOS, WHITE GAS, PROPANE, MRE,S.... AND PLENTY OF AMMO..GOD BLESS...

What is your plan for economic recovery?

First I would abolish the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 which put control of out currency into the hands of the private money manipulators.

Next since the only thing that our income taxes pays for is interest owed to the Federal Reserve for the priveledge of having supply our cash money, I would abolish the income tax, and close down the IRS. How much would that save? It would put close to a trillion dollars per year back in OUR pockets to help restart the economy, since it depends so much on us spending money like there's no tommorrow.

Next would be the useless DHS(Gestapo), and the utterly failed Dept. of Education.

Then I would pull ALL of our military out of every country other than our own and open up all those shut down bases whose closings have killed the economies of so many small towns.

How am I doing so far? When I think of some more, I'll let you know. I think that's a whole bunch of money saved right there, don't you?

I would call upon no other than Han Solo and The Millenium falcon to deploy the full Jedi council upon Washington to put down this madness the trade federation has imposed upon the working man , by trying to bailout all of their Sith lords on Wall Street, as well as, the Viceroys of the big three automakers, making crap cars and trucks that have to be replaced every five years because of the flaws engineered into the vehicles they sell to have them coming back to the dealerships for transmissions and head gaskets every 30 or 40 thousand miles, or whenever the so called warranty expires... This is no other than the PIMPING of the american society. The question is are we going to stand by and watch the socialization of our society right before our eyes and not do anything about it????.... TO BE CONTINUED. IN A GALAXY NOT SO FAR FAR AWAY..........GOD HELP US ALL, USE THE FORCE......
