For Hutch

Guess those ground pounders aren't the only one's that can whip a piece around. Not sure I'd want to be the Lt. though.

I enjoyed watching this video. Wow! The discipline they have is amazing!
One of my nephews (Navy) is being deployed to the Persian Gulf Friday. He's a Medic and has been to Iraq once before, he went in with Marines. I don't understand that, forgot to ask him about it. Anyone care to explain?

The Navy supplies all the medical needs of the Marines, including the Corpsmen or medics. BTW, I'm ok, just haven't had much to say, thank you to you and Jane for asking and caring.

Thanks for the info.

Hutch, glad you're okay! Smiling

TinCan, thanks. I pray my nephew will be safe too. But...I worry about him.

Tug,
No direct experience, I was peacetime Navy, but I think it's common for corpsmen to serve with ground forces in war. Remember one of the Iwo Jima flag raisers was a Navy corpsman. Hope your nephew has a safe tour.
