School Supt. and Leadership

Dr. DeCotis is absolutely correct. The school system may have a budget shortfall and the issue should be addressed. Dr. Decotis as the leader of the school system should step up to the plate and give back the substantial raise that he was given. The raise that put his salary at a level higher than that of the Governor. By taking this pay cut he will then demonstrate to the students, teachers and the taxpayers that he is capable of providing the leadership needed to carry our school system through these difficult times. This will also demonstrate to the students leadership by example, a lesson that cannot be taught by books.
