"THANK YOU, FAYETTE COUNTY!"

Those would be the words that my late husband, Capt. Mike Pruitt, would have to say for all the support shown to him over the past year.
We have received countless cards of encouragement and recently precious cards expressing sympathy.
Simply put, Mike loved his job because he knew he could make a difference.
Few people make an impact in this world like Mike did...to his family he was bigger than life! Eventhough my heart is breaking, I am so honored to have been married to a man that gave so much of himself to serve others.

On behalf of my family, we appreciate all your prayers and support: from the Breakfast in Woolsey; the BBQ from the Fayette Daily News; the Big Daddy's Bike Ride that the Deputies organized; the Red Cross Blood Drive; the Fayette Co. Honor Guard; and all the hard work and dedication that went into Mike's Funeral.
There are countless people that have touched our lives over the past year and we Thank All of You for being a part of our "extended family".
