Another mistake in policy in the wars

We found a General who hired the Sunnis (Saddam's old group) to fight the others for us in Arack (that is the way we say it).
We pay them well, feed them well, clothe them well, and let them go home for lunch and supper! A pension comes later.

Now we propose to do the same thing in Afghanistan (where the afghans comes from) we will hire the Taliban to fight other groups. (for us).

All this will work until the money wears out, or we leave. They are used to waiting thousands of years for their enemy to fold. (Isn't this the area about 7000 years ago where a big guy with the jawbone of an ass killed a bunch of dummies coming around a big rock? (or was that Grecians?)

We have given up on turning the Afghan economy into raising beans and corn. They much prefer poppies--pays much better and the USA is a big customer.
With that money they can buy goats, camels, and foodstuffs elsewhere to eat.

Time is maybe to let the Persians rule this bunch of savages again. We ain't going to be successful at it. And it didn't even guarantee us any more oil!
