“The Life a House Built"

Kudos to the Carter family, friends and many volunteers involved with this PBS special aired last night depicting President Jimmy and First Lady Rosalynn Carter’s extraordinary 25-year involvement with Habitat for Humanity.
The documentary, titled “The Life a House Built,” was shot over of the course of one week throughout the Gulf Coast region and includes interviews with Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, volunteers and those whose lives have been touched by Habitat for Humanity.

What a great organization and with the ongoing support and dedication of the Carters, friends and volunteers from around the world to build such an outstanding humanitarian outreach program.
This documentary shows that this is still hope in this world for those whose lives have been affected by devastation.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year To All!!

I think it's safe to say that most everyone 'stands down' politically when it comes to recognizing former President Carter's contributions and dedication to Habitat For Humanity. I'll betcha he was pushed into it by Jeff's mom. Eye-wink

Thanks Jimmy and Rosalyn.

But it also shows the determination and gratitude of the Carters and friends to instill the love and admiration to those less fortunate to have the ability to do it for them self's. I just thank God we have people in this world that are willing to give there time to help others.. and I'll bet your right... JeffC is the man!
