I was so disappointed when the fledgling solar industry was killed by the policies of Ronald Reagan. Now, it is Germany and Japan that lead the world in solar technology. "We coulda been a contender".

Yes, the U.S.A. could have been a "contender" in this industry by now. Our leaders dropped the ball and someone else picked it up.

"Our esteemed leaders in Washington can’t figure out how to do anything more difficult than line up for a group photo. Put Americans back to work? You must be kidding. Health care? We’ve been working on it for three-quarters of a century. Infrastructure? Don’t ask".
