"CHANGE"

I sense a lot of people programs coming up soon!

All we get from the right wing is Bank and Finance and religion programs.

You know: Joe the Plumber Alaskan living and Sarah Palin Churches (hers got burned by some nut recently).

Suddenly, it seems the banks can't operate in a capitalistic society! They always go too far when not watched like a hawk watches the rabbit.

Trying to pass laws to convert citizens into "Christians" who don't approve of abortions, attend "church" regularly, always pray in public (prey, sometimes), brag about making lots of moolah, cabbage, geetus, sheckels, lettuce, greenbacks, pounds, and money, hate most immigrants ("legal" has a new meaning), don't like health solutions, unemployment pay, welfare programs, education by tax money, and weaponless citizens! And really hate social security and medicare for the old and infirm.
If we are without a war, then we must be needing to start one somewhere!

I sense some of this disappearing!
Why not waste the money on people instead of banks, cars companies, leverage houses, Iraq, and soldiers in every major area in the world?

I must have missed the law that requires you to attend church, can you back that up with a fact or are you bonging again?

Laws that try to make us all obey a religious law!

I think you have heard of abortion, religion in schools, and many others.

As to attending church--it seems that one can not be religious unless they attend "church" either the early praise, dance and yell session or the later regular session--according to many. Particularly their church.

Always wanting to mix religion and government, always. They are afraid their religion may be wrong about something, and if so they want everyone on their side---as if that made any difference!

As usual you spout some kind of bull manure and when asked to back it up, you hem and haw, back and fill, and can't or won't. You're just as bad as the religious fanatics, only 180 degrees off. Last I heard, abortion was legal, no religion in schools, and by all means lets hear about the many others. Tell me where it's required to attend church, state law, federal law, or what?

Could anybody, I mean absolutely anybody at all, be elected to any position whatsoever in Fayette County if he did not identify himself as belonging to a "church"? Not a chance.

We had a physician running for the city council in Peachtree City about ten years ago who happened to be Jewish. A local paper editorial recommended we not vote for someone who was not Christian. How about that for tolerance and open-mindedness!

Earlier this year, I had a Fayette County woman tell me not to vote for Barack Obama because he was a Muslim.

Popeye, you are what you are, and you are in denial.

Ok dip, I'll give you the same challenge, show me a law where it says you are REQUIRED to attend church, can you do that, that was the gist of my post and as always old Nit or Bonker$ or $ or whoever he is this day, hour, or minute danced around it, just like you danced around it, put up or go away.Btw, he also never answered the question, can you ?

If you want to have any chance of being elected, not only are you REQUIRED to attend church, but you've got to attend the "right" church too. Some folks have gotten by being in the wrong church by emphasizing their anti-abortion views and skipping the exact church they were in.

In this whole thread no one has said anything about elections but you, that wasn't the point of this thread, and still neither you or $nitbonker$ has answered the question....dance puppet dance.

Our recent elections have helped us put the right wing and religious extremists in their place on the national level, but unfortunately not on the local level. Yet. Perhaps the day will come. There is a little bit of hope. The whole thread was about "changes." Yes, we can!

Yes the thread was about changes, yet nowhere was an election mentioned until you weighed in. I'll ask one more time, can you show me the law that says you have to attend church???? I didn't think so.

Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Exodus 20:8

Your friend Lynn Westmoreland wants to post this commandment on every wall in sight, because he can’t remember it.

My friend? I think he's almost as big a fool as you are, so when did we pass that law, come, come now, you can do better then that.

Yeah, some have been raised to think they ARE NOT prejudiced and that all are going to hell except southern Baptists who attend their church.
Tolerance is dangerous to them.
Tricky methods in voting, churches, criticism, explanations, and even that Jesus was a Jew, but......
