A plan to survive the Obama years

"I'm going to approach the Obama years the same way liberals handled the Iraq war. Just as they claimed to support our troops while opposing the war, I'm going to support my country while opposing Obama and what he stands for in every way that I can."

Your walking a fine line with that kind of thinking with the libtards on this site. I have reframed from making too many political comments about Barry but now it is time to put up or shut up. With today's OPEC announcement and their attempt to hold the US hostage over oil prices we'll see if Barry has a back bone! It's time for him to begin implementing all those promises during his campaign. As with any politician, promises are made and then once in office the reality hits. I have more faith in Biden due to his longevity in Washington. Either way, time to step up Barry. Oh by the way, Libtards please continue to bash all republicans because what goes around comes around.

Maybe he should wait until Obama actually takes office before he starts implementing his agenda. On the other hand, if you can get Bush and Cheney to leave early that would be fine with most of us.

Calling us "libtards" is sooo much more effective when you butcher the English language. Thanks for the giggle; not a full laugh, but it's a start. Laughing out loud

Our president today is George W Bush. 'Barry' will not be President of the US until he is officially sworn in on January 20. What is our current President doing about this 'hostage' situation'? We're still on HIS watch!

You see Mom it ain't what Obama CAN do right now (nothing) but what he SAYS he will do, you see.
It has been that way for eight years and people expect it!

The Obama cabinet appointments have been impressive. It looks like we'll have persons with experience and knowledge - instead of some persons whose experience included serving as the leader of a horse association at the helm now. It appears members of the Cabinet are being chosen for what they have to offer all Americans rather than their individual ideologies. It takes backbone and courage to reach out to those with different ideas - and wisdom to listen to those ideas to find solutions to unbelievable problems.

If I read your article correctly, the Republican "plan" for the next four years is to count on Mitch McConnell to lead a "scorched Earth" opposition to anything and everything Obama proposes, and to pray for Sarah Palin in 2012.

That's not very American....but then I suspect people like you Fred identify themselves as a "Republican" first and foremost, and an "American" secondly.

But we do have some common ground, my friend....like you and your kind, I too will pray for Sarah Palin to be the 2012 Republican nominee.
