A Poem to Economists

It is all about trade, isn't it?
Scarcity and demand also contribute.
You always predict success then quit
Everyone then pays to you a tribute!

It rarely happens the way you said
Almost always much worse than planned
Your schemes, math and charts on a pad
Had too many variables and were banned.

Exuberance you say, slow it down a bit
Then let me raise interest to stop that,
If need I'll flood banks into the pit.
Economics a farce it seems, crazy as a bat

Might I suggest we do as we please
How much more could we be in a sqeeze?

Don't pay any attention to them (that man behind the curtain) I am the great wizard of Oz! Not him!

One moment you speak of expansion,
And the next of recession.
You speak with such obfuscation
I wonder what is your mission.

You show so much enjoyment
When speaking of unemployment,
While the GDP gets lower
And my 401k goes down the sewer.

Voodoo economics
Full of dirty tricks,
I ain’t doing so well
When everything's going to hell.
