Elite Salon Suites on North Glynn Street was burglarized twice Sunday night in a matter of about 8 hours.

The first incident occurred near 7 p.m. when the owner found the that the business had been entered and a number of smaller items stolen, according to Fayetteville Police spokesman Lt. Glenn Askew.

An officer patrolling the area at approximately 2:30 a.m. found the front door ajar. A subsequent search of the premises determined that the business had been ransacked, with a computer and printer stolen, a glass display shelf shattered and items thrown around the lobby.

Guess the owner or manager didn't do a very good job of re-securing the door.

Seems weird to hit a salon. I wouldn't think the take would be worth the trouble... twice.

Judt how would you do it any better than a few hours before at midnight?
There isn't a store in business they can't get in any time they want.

As a last resort, which they rarely need, a cinder block through the window works real well.

Plexi-glass and/or plywood work wonders. Not to mention burglar bars. (Sad to see Fayetteville turn into Riverdale, isn't it)

There are also numerous glass places which repair and reinforce doors and windows at all hours of the night.

Wow that really does suck for the business owner. But on the upside of it all, the officer who found the door open the second time should have gotten 3 or is it 4? For those of you who remember the points scale this is a bit of dry humor.
