Lookout issued for big shoplifting caseWed, 11/26/2008 - 5:41pm

Peachtree City police are asking the public to watch out for a group of four people involved in stealing $3,000 of robes and gowns from the Chico's Soma store at The Avenue in Peachtree City. The incident occurred today around 4 p.m., police said. One of the suspects spotted in the store was described as a black female, heavyset about 5'5", 250 pounds in her late 30s or early 40s with short black hair wearing long sleeved sweats, police said. The other suspect from inside the store was described as 5'5", 160 pound in her mid 40s, being "rough looking" and wearing a black midriff shirt showing her belly along with a red belt and blue jeans, police said. She drove a candy apple red older model sedan that was possibly a Chevy Monte Carlo, police said. Two other suspects seen in the parking lot with the others included a young black female driving a four-door light color car perhaps a mid-90s Honda Accord with a male passenger described as a mixed race 5'5" tall and 140 pounds with a mustache, wearing a hat.
