Abuse of power...

To the female detective in the unmarked SUV who pulled my brother-in-law over on Hwy 85 near the Kroger/Publix at Hwy 92 south yesterday morning...

Leave a little bit earlier for work and you won't have to get angry at drivers for not going as fast as you want to. I'm pretty darn sure that there is no law stating that drivers must follow the vehicles in front of them at any certain rate, other than not following too closely. To stop him and tell him that he was letting too much room between his vehicle and the ones in front of him is ridiculous and abuse of your power.

Did you radio dispatch and advise them of the stop? Why didn't you ask for his driver's license and proof of insurance? Do your job and let the patrol division do theirs!

I thought that in the State of Georgia to legally stop someone the vehicle had to have 6" lettering stating Police/Sheriff on the side of the car. If your brother in law got her name, I would file a report with the Sheriff's office. Heck I would file a report anyway, that would make me mad as Hell! Police Officers have a hard enough time out there without some Jerk like this making things worse for them.

Now just why in the Hell do I have to press 1 for English?

Are you sure this was a real cop?
