Silence is deafening

The "no federal help"; the neo-cons; the right-wingers; church groups; huckleberry fans; Falwell worshipers; anti-abortion groups; welfare haters; war enthuseists; towel-head haters; "fair tax"creatures;
Haggee backers; The Robertson and the Robison backers; the Clinton haters; the backers of no Social Security pensions and for now almost broke 401k people; the buy your own health insurance out of your 18,000 dollar salary people; the "get a job" groups; the haters of unemployment insurance---they now take it; the penny-pinchers who budgeted and supported the VA system of taking care of our 40,000 wounded guys from just the Iraqi and Afghjanistan wars--aren't saying much.

I voted for John McCain since he was the best of the two for getting some of this corrected, but if these groups above don't help, and they won't, the new President-elect, then won't have a chance.

If he knows how to be more of a socialist than has the republicans in the last year, then I really do pity our future!

Forget the "dream". It's all about the money....

King Family Wants Obama Shirt $$$

"ATLANTA (AP) Zealous guardians of his words and his likeness, the family of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. is demanding a share of the proceeds from the sudden wave of T-shirts, posters and other merchandise depicting the civil rights leader alongside Barack Obama."

I also vote for individuals, not a stupid party!

We need a 2 party system but we don't need one party voters!

You voted for the party which you think is the origin of the problem? M'kay.... I guess... yeah

No, I never vote for a party, only the person. I am an Independent who votes for some in each party generally.

How can anyone vote for crooks, like Stevens in Alaska, a convicted felon, just because of his party? 50% of Alaskans did just that!

I think there are about 40% of us who do at least some of this type voting, thank goodness!

I wil never understand people who vote straight tickets al,l of the time. Nor religious zealots who follow a preacher who is obviously wrong.

You would probably be proud of me if you knew who I voted for in that race. Smiling
