Peachtree City police were investigating a gym thief Monday who had stolen a wallet from a locker at the World Gym, officials reported.

The suspect, described as “possibly a black male,” and “possibly driving an F-150,” almost immediately began using the financial cards in the wallet, including a stop at a Rite-Aid and at other locations, said Capt. Rosanna Dove.

Officers were working to get video footage that may show the suspect at those locations, police said.

In other arrests, police charged a 22-year-old Peachtree City resident for four counts of obstructing a police officer. The incident occurred Friday morning when officers went to serve a violation of probation arrest warrant on Drew A. Wall, and he initially eluded officers who kept up the hunt for him all night and eventually arrested him, police said.

The incident occurred near McIntosh High School which was briefly put on lockdown to keep Wall from perhaps entering the facility, police said.

Wall, of Terrane Ridge, is also charged with the initial violation of probation allegation in addition to the obstruction charges.

Peachtree City was "probing" a gymnasium wallet thief at the same time as investigating a gymnasium thief!
Said Rosana Dana Rosana Sparrow.
The suspect was possibly an unidentified green single gender creature riding in a F-150 UFO said Rosana Dana.

Officers were "working" to get video "footage" (pictures) that may or may not show the creature at those locations. Most UFO people can not be seen on film except as a blur.

"PTC PROBING GYM WALLET THIEF"

What, does the PD have a staff proctologist? Did somebody volunteer for that duty? Sounds like the TSA guy in "Witless Protection"---"I'm going in!!!"

It's ok to do the "probing" I guess. Just don't be like the jail in California that took off a prisoner's head scarf and paid 50 large ones in religious infringement damages.

Actually with a little more probing of the criminals there would be a little less criminal activity coming down to visit us here.

As usual, the Citizen is not reporting the full story.

There were actually wallet thefts from both the Hwy 54 AND the Hwy 74 World Gym locations, today, within hours of each other. The Sheriff's dept is working the case at the Hwy 54 location.

I believe the one on 54 East is actually in Fayette County, not the City.

I forgot the one on 54 is right outside the city limits.
