The Sandy Creek Lady Patriots varsity volleyball team has made the AAAA final.
Sandy Creek faced Whitewater’s Lady Wildcats in the state semi-final and their best 3 out of 5 match went the distance.

Whitewater won the first game 25-16, but Sandy Creek won the second game 25-22. The third game went to the Lady Wildcats 25-12, but Sandy Creek won a tight fourth game 27-25 and took the match with the fifth game 15-10.

The Lady Patriots will take on Marist on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Marietta High School for the Class AAAA state championship. Sandy Creek has faced Marist twice this season and has lost both matches.
