Curb that crave

All Obama did in the article you put forth was to state the obvious:
Obama told him that the "American people elected a civilian commander in chief for good reason, that it might not be the perfect solution but it was going to be one that he (Petraues) would have to work with."
So Obama states that the office of president is that of a civilian commander and THIS is the leadership you have been “craving”?
"THAT, my friends, is the type of leadership America has been craving for years."
Please don’t lump me into that “American craving” category. If I am going to have a leadership craving satisfied, it is going to take a little more than some guy stating the obvious. In my opinion leadership is defined by just a wee bit more substance. I am happy that your craving is so easily satisfied. I pray that the majority of Americans require a bit more to satisfy that same leadership craving.
