Carter's Legacy

barack obama is the 2nd coming of Jimmy Carter, except much, much more dangerous.

Get ready for 25%+ unemployment and double-digit inflation when barack gets elected.

Carter-Era Housing Policies Helped Spark Sub-Prime Crisis, Expert Says

"The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) – a Carter-era policy that requires federal financial supervisory agencies to encourage banks to grant loans to people with low income and little credit – played a major role in sparking the sub-prime mortgage crisis the nation now faces, according to economist Russell Roberts, who spoke at a forum on the issue Thursday at the Hudson Institute."

Not one republican has blamed the financial crisis on the poor.
The article unsuccessfully implies it, but that does not make it truth.

Newsweek is just one of a bunch of dying, illegitimate "news" organizations like the AJC.

Listen to Free At Last

My favorite quote: Let Freedom Ring and Free At Last, Thank God Almighty Free At Last.

Martin Luther King Jr. you nailed it.

Listen to Let Freedom Ring

Btw the guy the guy that is the second from the right is my favorite singer. Russ Taff what a voice! David Phelps does a excellent job, he's the guy on the end.

I think Martin Luther King Jr. would agree.

"They Gave Your Mortgage To A Less Qualified Minority"

That's one....would you like to see others?

The quote you gave above, "They gave your mortgage to a less qualified minority" is not a statement of blame, but a statement of FACT. I do challenge you to "...would you like to see others?". I'm sure those will be classified incorrectly as well.

For years the Republicans had been pushing for "Greater" regulatory powers imposed on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and for years Dems fought them every step of the way. Their weapons to attack Republicans were to call them "racist", and/or incompetent, while turning their backs on the real truth, while holding their hands out for cash and votes.

You can see for yourself... this is a very well edited video taken directly from multiple Congressional hearings held years ago. Look how the Democrats protect Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, especially Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines, and sternly support them while they attack the regulators exposing the unlawful and unethical practices.
Watch at how angrily the Left attack the regulator (Director of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight... a watchdog of activities by orgs such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac), when they have nothing to support their own rhetoric.

Now I know the truth won't persuade you Sniffles, your mind is made up, but at least the truth is out there for others to see and witness. I do offer our nation and to you hope by prayer for God's will to continue to make our nation prosperous and that would NOT include NObama as president.

Witness for yourself:

Non-regulation by the government is the bed-rock belief of the conservatives!

That is why it made many of them severely sick when the Trillion dollar bail-out was passed recently, along with many regulations as to how it was to be done!

The regulations they wanted for Freddy and Fannie I think you will find had to do with discrimination!
They went from "red-lining" of areas where NO LOANS were made, not even any applications, to wide-open throttle to everyone with not even a job!
No body wanted that, just take an application and either approve or dis-approve it!

... that is the best you can do? That same ole tiring response, "Republicans for less regulation". Can anyone on the Left excite me... goodness folks?

Republicans support putting policies in place that encourage and influence economic growth while protecting the people with responsible regulations. That is the economic "bed-rock" of Conservatism. The many Congressional hearings held were targeting the mismanagement of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by its leaders to the degree of unlawful and unethical behaviors. Study please Bonkers... and if you don't study... please DON'T vote, the future of my children and my grand-children are at stake.

I meant not one Republican in power. I thought that you would be smart enough to pick up on that, but I was wrong.

Ann Coulter writes satire and her opinions do not matter.

Newsweek is supposed to report the truth, but then, they are a dying organization, and as illigitimate as Ann Coulter's comments.
