You claim there are few former Hillary supporters who support Sarah, you know the "women supporting women" comment. Today I found 5,500 former Hillary supporters who support Sarah. I know their names, states,etc. I am sure there are more, but I am pretty limited in computer use and I won't write anything I cannot prove with facts.

However, in the last election there were 121,069,054 votes, you supposedly found 5,500 Hillary voters for Palin. Good for you. That's 0.000045%. Hillary got about 18 million votes so you found 0.0003% now supporting Palin.

I hope Obama and the Democrats can recover from this blow.

I ask because his writing reminded me of your father. Your father actually thought about what was best for this country and never made a decision that would favor his own self interest. Your father had and still has a true heart for this country. Even though I have not... well.... really ever agreed with his decisions or policies, your father never gave one thought of what was best for him or his own interests. Our current democratic party does not have your fathers spirit. I think they are thinking of their own self interest. That is why I have left.

I get such a kick out of people who think "socialist" is a synonym for "democratic".

In fact I watched it with great interest. Remembering that this was a Republican President's plan, the D's wisely refused to pass it without the Republicans stepping up to the plate to share the blame. The R's would have loved to have the D's pass Bush's plan by themselves but it didn't happen. McCain, not understanding the ploy, jumped into the situation to prove his leadership by leading the legislation to an ignominious defeat being able to rally only 30% of his own party. His actions probably costs him the election and the D's strategy have people like Fred here neutered because he can't pin the socialist tag on the Dem's without having to explain about the Rep's and President Bush.

But I think it's mainly another sign of the right spiraling down into oblivion without any concept of why the old attacks and character assassination techniques aren't working. He's black. I was listening to Laura Ingram on the way to work and she was talking about how Palin had totally shredded Biden and lifted up the campaign and how she was the campaign's secret weapon that would lead then to victory. So now, again completely missing the mood of the American people, we're getting a string of accusations that liberals are not God fearing Americans, that northern Virginia is communist country, that members of Congress should be investigated for being anti-American and on and on and on.

It suits me fine for these xenophobic no-nothings who celebrate this kind of ignorance ban together and sink together. My hope and prediction is that after the election the Republican Party can be taken over by conservatives again instead of these nuts.
