Hundreds of Economists Sign Letter Opposing Obama's Tax Plan

About those "hundreds of economists":

First of all, it wasn't "hundreds", the McCain campaign claimed "100".

The list they provided, though, only listed 90. I guess they take the USArmyBrat position that a fact is an opinion you really really want to be true!

There are 17,000 economists in the American Economists Association (AEA) and McCain could only find 90 to support his position.

Additionally, 10 of those 90 supporters are paid McCain staffers.

The McCain campaign continues to circle the drain...

Read again - there are 971 signatories that oppose Barack's tax plans.

Look at the underlying numbers. Only "100" (actually 90) oppose Obama's plan in its entirety (first link in your article).

The rest have issues with certain parts of it. Big deal.

Heck, *I* don't like certain parts of Obama's plans, but that doesn't mean I oppose it!
