I appreciate your concern for your daughter, but this just comes off as a bit whiny - much like people already assume the entire population of PTC to be. Just call the security office and give them your complaint. I'm not quite sure they would be particularly concerned after the incident that a robber was going to hit another store with like 10 police cars there. As for during the robbery, what exactly would you expect the security guard to do? Beat the gunman with his flashlight? I guess they should have an armed guard at each door of each establishment at the Avenues - where these brave young workers come to work and risk their lives each day on the rough streets of Peachtree City.

PTC isn't perfect, but if you'll check out a few facts, not many places have better "crime rates" than PTC or Fayette County.

You can bet this clown will be caught.

He was stupid enough to write "thug" on his neck. That does narrow down the field some.

...to a safer location and take your daughter with you. Crime has arrived to our County from Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton and I'm afraid it's here to stay. In the meantime, your daughter would do good to take a self defense course and buy a weapon, though I'm not sure if she'd be allowed to take it to work.

Another suggestion is that your daughter gets a job at the PTCPD or with the Sheriff Dept, that way you and her might be able to feel safer.

If you put up a sketch of a black criminal, you must put up a photo of a white criminal. Anything less than that is racist and you should be ashamed.

So, you got any white criminals this week? If not you must take down the sketch of the black guy until you get a white one as well.

There are enough criminals at Lehman Brothers to use for duplicate pictures (almost all white) and not have to remove the black one!

If we were interested, we might even find a few at local banks!
