This was posted on the front page of the Jerusalem Post:

There are reasons why there are so few Jewish Republicans

"Sociologically, Jews are not in the camp of ignorance or of bias. The sad fact is that although McCain is a civilized and educated man and a real friend of Israel, his camp is the camp of ignorance and bias. It is against science; it is against tolerance; it is against egalitarian law; it is against the tradition of the prophets; it is against religious and intellectual liberty; it is hypocritical. There are reasons why there are so few Jewish Republicans. Die-hard Republicans (which no longer include true free marketeers) are mostly not of our rational kin and their thinking is not in our spiritual ken. These are people, after all, who don't believe in evolution or in genetics. For Jews, however, evolution and genetics tell at least half the story of our survival."

You can betcha these articles are circulating throughout the Jewish community today.

Gee Jeff,

Check out the website jewishworldreview.com for insightful jewish columns that do not subscribe to your thesis.

There is no monolithic voting block, except African Americans and this particular election, or most elections..90% or so democractic voting

I went to the Jerusalem Post www.jpost.com and read this editorial. Then I read the comments from readers, many of whom were from the USA.At least 90% of comments disagreed with this editorial written by Marty Perez. Most who were voters said they would not vote for Obama,
and Obama was not a friend of Israel and expressed concern for Israel should Obama be elected. Many writers reminded us how the actions of Democrats of the past screwed Israel.
You selectively printed only part of the story to try to give more support and credibility to your candidate.

Of course I selectively printed only part of the story, it was two pages long. I gave a link to the rest for anyone interested.

I read the Israeli press every day. For Haaretz and The Jerusalem Post to publish stories like this is very unusual.

Look at McCain's numbers in Florida, he peaked a week after the convention and has dropped almost 6 points since then while Obama has gained 6. Obama is now ahead an average of 3 points in the FL polls. The FOX/Rasmussen poll released 3 days ago shows Obama at +7. Doubts about Palin's qualifications are especially strong there.

There was not a link, and the majority of readers would not click on a link, were there one. That is what you counted on, i.e. people would read and believe what you wrote was true. The Israeli press rarely prints opinions, not stories, like this because they are so cheezy and untrue.
As you read these papers every day, did you catch the editorial "Sarah Palin deserves our respect" by Ed Koch, respected Democratic mayor of NYC for many years ?
I hope everyone who reads your blogs do so with an open mind. There are no facts to support some of your posts.
I don't read the polls

Go back up to the story I posted:

There's the link, right above the story for everybody to see. If people don't want to click on it, well it's a free country.

If you wish to challenge one of my facts, I welcome it. If you're going to refute it with a story from NewsMax, FOX news or a comment by Rush or Sean I'd advise you to Google it first.

Didn't see the Koch story... maybe you could provide a link...

You betcha!

Speaking of Jews, there was a delicious little episode over the weekend involving Sean Hannity and the raving anti-semite he featured as his anti-Obama “expert” (without mentioning the anti-semite part, of course). Check this out:
