The right lane of Peachtree Parkway south on the northbound side will be closed starting this week to make room for a path, tunnel and stormwater improvement project.

The closing will be in the area of Windgate Road and is expected to reopen during early February 2009, city officials said.

The length of the closed road is anticipated to be about 400 feet.
