Wow, Darth

Your post was extremely informative. In college I minored in history and art history and though my concentration was in ancient civilizations (I can hold my own in a discussion about Summerian seals, Babylon, Rome, etc.) I do remember studying the Depression - cause and effect. Though I am not as knowledgeable as you appear to be on this topic, some of that 'learnin' must have stuck in my subconscience. Like you, I have had a sinking feeling in my stomach. It's like that moment on a roller coaster when you've just topped the highest hill and you take in a deep breath and pray.

Everything in your post made sense. We may soon have to go back to the bartering system - you know... the doctor fixes you up and in turn you give him a chicken or some potatoes. The problem is I don't even have a chicken!LOL

Please learn more about what's really happening out there and help me spread the word! We are nearing the endgame for our civil liberties and our physical freedom. We are being enslaved by international banking cartels who are using bought politicians, and a bought main stream media as smoke and mirrors to keep the majority of America trapped in a distracted, naive bubble:and they are doing a darn good job of it. Check out Zeitgeist, and America:Freedom to Fascism on Google video. Also see www.restoretherepublic.com, and www.breakthematrix.com

instead of starting a new blog each time you want to comment on a post, try replying to the post within the thread where the conversation originated...

I'm pretty new at this and have wondered why my posts sometimes end up under 'Recent Blog Posts'. I went to the bottom of your post and clicked on 'reply', we'll see where this ends up.

Also, I went to some of the links you gave me and spent some time researching this morning. I noticed that, for example, Bill # S 2020
in Nov. of '05 McCain voted No to the additional funding of $500 million for mental illness and substance abuse issues for veterans. I looked for a comment by McCain on why he voted No and as of yet have found nothing. My thinking was that perhaps there may have been one component of the bill that caused the Rep. party to reject the funding, but without an explanation that NO looks pretty stark.

One of the more interesting insights into McCain's double standards came when he was forced to choose between active duty troops and payday lenders.

There was a bill to limit the amount of interest on payday loans to active duty troops, capping the interest rate at 30% per year (!!!) from the usurious rate of 360% per year.

McCain sided with the payday loan companies and 360%. That, to me, says a lot about his "support" for the troops.

That's a good thing about Mccain, thinking about small and moderate people. It could be a real deal if he's the one who won the presidency.
