School computers;war's end;bail-out;Palin

I noticed all the haullaboo on school computer purchases. Just lease the suckers with a maintenance plan, pay by the year! Who conned them into a buy?

Both McCain and Obama will "end" the war in Iraq--not in Afghanistan. However, like in Korea, Germany, and many other places, we will be in the "Green Zone" a very long time with 2-3 divisions and air and Naval support.

Bailout of Wall Street won't stop many bankruptcies that need to happen. Of course the powers that be in the industry will again start to loan that 700B to banks to pay them out of their bad loans. It is not going to happen soon enough however to salvage local businesses who are teetering!

May have been better to get it over with quickly--no loans--instead of stretching it out---to heck with the rest of the world. Put Condi to work.

Palin:
Unfortunately, we have a lot if screwy voters who want to vote for "family values," "principles," Motherhood, and Apple pie. They don't even know what they are!
VISION for solving our very serious world problems, and our own economy, isn't even understood by most politicians anymore!
What is in it for me, NOW!
