I'm glad to be hearing some common sense on this site. Did I hear correctly today that Obama wants 20% of the "bailout" package to go to ACORN? Sounds to me like more of the same...irresponsible lending practices.
On Iran, during the debate Obama speaks of levying sanctions against Iran. Why do so if we aren't willing to enforce these sanctions? Iraq thumbed their noses at sanctions and resolutions for a dozen years. Sounds redundant? I'm just wondering...where is this "CHANGE" that the Obama camp keeps as their moto?

Absolutely, Obama is a polished charismatic speaker(maybe he would make a great lawyer); but, speaking well in our native language of spin isn't enough. By the way, Hitler was said to be a charismatic speaker - just making a point, not comparing Barak to Hitler.

At the end of the day, I chose the man with honour, integrity, and grit. McCain embodies these traits, not that he isn't without fallacy - none of us are- but overall his character is Presidential.

your "common sense" comment refers to my rant last night. Nice to meet another conservative in this Lib-tard cesspool. I don't think the Acorn distribution was Obumble's idea (what idea has he ever had except how to get ahead using the Chicago political machine), it was just built into the original bailout being proposed by the Dims. There was supposed to be a percentage of the "profits" made once the reinvestment starts taking hold that would be designated to "assist" in some Socialist plan to help the "less fortunate". You know, people like Tony Rezco and Chris Dodd. Buried in amongst the recipients is Acorn, renowned for getting Dims elected by registering pets and dead people.

There seem to be a lot of other ideas being bandied about now that are supposed to be more sensible than the one the Dims tried to rush through. I'm hoping to learn something about some of them to understand how they propose keeping our economy flowing without simply rewarding the crooks that have been fleecing us for years.

Keep the faith! The way the Libs are squealing about Palin and every other scrap of inconsequential information they encounter means they recognize that The War isn't the only place Obamessiah can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Have a great weekend!

I find it amazing how many bigoted white trash Aryan Nation racists continually bring up the fact that Adolf Hitler was a charismatic speaker.

Not that I am comparing Dawn69 to a bigoted white trash Aryan Nation racist...just making a point.
