What fake conservative of 13% said that?

Those who would actually vote for a red dog (a real dog) if he were to be nominated by the republicans, I guess!

Hey Nitpickers. In response to your blog last week about the poll on this site - the few that voted for " better times coming soon" aren't political minded in the first place. These are the ones that bury their heads in the sand and can always stay optimistic because things have somehow always worked out for them. They're not like the rest of us who work hard to make our lives better and keep up with current events because we want to be informed members of our society. If the sh#t is going to hit the fan - I want to know so I can get an umbrella and I want to know how deep it's going to get so I can wear goloshes.

Me, I typically try to vote for whom I personally believe to be the better man. I'm neither Democrat nor Republican. My voting record is such, beginning in '88: Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Gore (I was really ticked off about that election), and Bush the W. Frankly, I feel that anyone on either end of the scale (far left and far right) is narrow - most of us are somewhere in the middle.

On an unrelated note: my 6 year old son recently built a city out of blocks and of cource the fun part is always tearing it down. After he destroyed his nicely built city I asked him what he was going to do next. His reply was "I'm going to call FEMA."
Man, I'm watching way too much news in front of these kids.
