Peachtree City Leaders into Foreclosure dregs

Doesn't the City Manager work for the Mayor? Oh, I forgot, the Manager and the Chief of Police work for no one.

Anyway, it appears that the two could have picked a more reputable business in which to be involved! Are they that free of work?

Are they going to buy scores of these houses and fix all of them personally? Of course they are not--it will be a sideline using cheap Manuel Labour.

I sometimes wonder where some of these people leave their thinking cap!

I guess the same place that Bear-Sterns, Freddy and Fannie, and Lehman and AIG leave theirs!

I have an idea: let PTC buy all of the foreclosures in town, renovate them and flip them!

Maybe no taxes for us would then be needed! I'll just not pay the property bill I just received and see if that is true. The bill is more than last year when my house is worth less, food cost more, my insurance went up, gas has doubled, electricity is up, and health costs have quintupled in five years!

Aren't we paying enough for the mayor to exercise his job full time? It's good to know that we have very few problems in PTC and the mayor and city mgr have plenty of time in their hands to play to be entrepenaurs. Maybe we should consider making those positions part time ones. Mmmmmmm

Forget that it is unethical and probably illegal, it is a good business.

The foreclosures here will probably top 1,000 by the end of next year and many of those will need cleaning up. Let them do it.

None will sell for inflated prices, but that is their problem. Let them alone and let them clean up the junk. No one else will.

Do I understand you?

Even if it is unethical and illegal it is OK since it is a good business?

Or, are you being facetious?

The Banks have shown the results of that kind of business lately!

These homes should be sold to people needing a home who can fix it themselves with a guaranteed loan from the government! Don't give the money to companies and con agents!
