Plenty of Citizen headlines available

Now the water and sewer departments want more money for a lesser amount of water!
They told us to use less--we did!

The school administration wants more, also. Cut the non-teaching staff 50%.

The police departments want more. Put supervisors and desk jockies in cars and on bikes.

The fire departments want more. Get some volunteers---give them fancy uniforms.

The developers want more golf cart bridges and a road to Newnan from the south side. Let them build them!

The Tennis Center must have gotten their million + for the bank, and the amphitheater wants to shut down a shift and charge more!

The Chinese developers don't want to pay any taxes for a long time, and want to live in a compound!

Two hotels have said: enough for us, we won't build in this stagnant place.

Did I see where Walgreen's is building on the south side--leaving the Lutherans
to have to sell to a skating rink (ice, maybe)? The town will give them 6 million, maybe!

Am I confused or are some of our citizens losing their jobs or getting cut back in salary, and many even about to lose their homes?
Is it going to fly to keep raising the cost of living here?

I frankly don't see any economic improvement, even here, for several years.
The Conserves really did a job this time. Also, a lot of the "invented" paper work jobs are going to disappear, soon. Particularly in the loan and tech businesses.

Do the government officials need to be told to reduce expenditures any way they can be reduced--- and not leaving out salary and benefit reductions either. And maybe drive old cars and buses longer?

There are just millions ($) of ways to cut----do it.

was $3,60 day before yesterday.

Won't you please raise all these city, state, and county, and school budgets again so we can all go bankrupt?

It's $5 because of the media making people believe there is a shortage and then gas wholesalers capitalizing on that fear. I'm not filling up until at least Monday. Oil is barely above $100 a barrel; I don't see how they can sustain or substantiate this.
