The necessity of cleaning up government

The current investigation of Tyrone’s government is just one of many. Government is so rotten that it defies common sense for citizens to pay for it. Aside from the mass of incompetence and improprieties in Tyrone, just read the Atlanta Journal Reports. Everyday some government employee or official is being investigated, fired or sent to prison. For example, the Wed. Aug. 13 edition has two articles involving the death of a woman caused by an incompetent 911 operator who took one hour to get an ambulance to a 39 year old woman with two children whose life could have easily been saved. The investigation revealed the 17 yr operator had 2100 pages of reprimands in her file, including mishandling of calls, mistake, eating lunch and sleeping on the job. Sleep so soundly that one time she fell out of her chair onto the floor.

The other article talks about the firing of the 23 yr Cobb County Chief Court Administrator who for years hired 18 and 19 year old girls to have sex with in his office during work hours, one time in a Judge’s Chambers, other times leaving work during the day and taking girls to motels. The Administrator salary was $100,000 per year.

This is what our taxes go for in Tyrone and everywhere. Governments are causing death, waste and destruction. Are we just going to wait until the whole rotten mess collapses and bankrupts us or are we going to have the courage to stand up and fight. I’m betting that the citizens don’t care, otherwise things would never have gotten so bad.

What a gloomy assessment of the order of things. Should we all go out and immolate (look in a dictionary, I don't expect ignorant fools like you to understand that word) ourselves over the situation? This is just the kind of drivel that you continue to write. And to tar all elected officials with the same brush.

Here's a clue...If you hate Tyrone/Georgia/The United States of America so much, please move somewhere else. I'd suggest Mainland China. More properly known as "The People's Republic of China". More window dressing for a totalitarian state that is currently polishing its image on the world stage for all to see. I'd give you about a week before you were in a "re-education camp" somewhere far behind the bamboo curtain with all the athletes who don't win gold.

Enjoy your visit!

YOU'RE THE REASON GOVERNMENTS HAVE BECOME SO INEFFICIENT, INCOMPETENT AND WASTEFUL!!! HOW ABOUT YOU PAYING MY TAXES FOR ALL THIS CRAP!!!! YOU MUST BE ONE OF THOSE SORRY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE THAT NEEDS TO BE SACRIFICED!!!!

I don't work for any government, I have to earn a living and pay the same taxes, I'll decline paying yours. One person's waste is another's sacred cow. If you had your way you'd throw out the baby with the bathwater. And the sink. And the counter top. And most of the kitchen appliances as well.

Mostly, it seems to me that your pointless rants, punctuated with overwrought shoutings like the above are the epitome of uselessness.

Take a pill and chill.

Do you support government employees taking taxpayers money illegally? Do you think citizens have no right to expect their taxes not be misappropriated?

Of course and obviously not. The guilty should be punished by a proper court and after a fair trial. If malfeasance was committed then by all means let's properly investigate and prosecute the offenders. Taxes should be spent frugally and properly.

A voice of reason in a sea of shouted ignorance....
