Death during pilgrimages!

A large number of people were killed in India again during a holy pilgrimage.
Somebody yelled "rockslide" when there wasn't one and they went crazy!

This happens every year at several places in the world.

It also happens at soccer matches and such but those are from alcohol usage, etc.

Can anyone who understands this sort of lack of planning explain it to me?

The Muslims do it all of the time. Is it similar to us swarming to Disney World, or the red-nek riviera, and getting numerous people killed on the highway, drowning, and by hear attack, etc,? Is that a sort of religion for us?

What they do is so dumb? Climb a narrow mountain rocky path with no way out except fall off the cliff! Or, circle a big rock after the Hajj and throw rocks at it, hitting each other!

I guess it is no worse than a six year war with 4-5,000 of our dead, and 25,000 maimed!!!!!

Well, actually there are more killed and wounded at, before, and after a NASCAR race every week than at religious pilgrimages---ooops they are pilgrimages aren't they?
