The site of Peachtree City’s first Japanese cuisine restaurant will soon be the destination for sushi and steak lovers again.

Kane Yama Japanese Steakhouse has requested a liquor pouring license from the Peachtree City Council, a request to be heard this Thursday night.

The steakhouse will be at 620 Crosstown Road, the former Ginza restaurant in Braelinn Village shopping center.

The license representative for Kane Yama is Tom Y.C. Huang, who originally opened Chin Chin’s Chinese restaurant. Huang is no longer with Chin Chin’s, a city staff memo to the council said. — Cal Beverly

We thought it would be an IHOP, with that blue roof they put on there.
